Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress, writer, director and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the child of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of plays as a child and watching her mom at work. When she was a kid, she appeared in several commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto, Ontario, in order to pursue acting. Over the years following, she relocated to Los Angeles. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year the year 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony.
