Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin began her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she took home an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11 which made the youngest recipient in Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress from New Zealand who was just a little girl was awarded the Academy Award in 1993 for the top support actress. She played the rebellious daughter of Holly Hunter's role in The Piano. Following a formal audition, when she was nine, she became Flora McGrath - the daughter of a Scottish musician who was mute in the 19th century. Her family was able to move to New Zealand to marry an unplanned husband. In her teens, she moved in the United States. Paquin had a small part in the film's title role when she was just a young girl in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and played the lead role in the film Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin did a brief appearance in the 1997 TV movie adaptation of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad which she was in, she played the Spanish queen in a minor role. Also, she played teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon(1999) and Almost Famous (2000). In addition, she was the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
