Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980, in Australia, is an actor and model. In Australia, she became famous because of the character Pepper Steiger that she played in the soap drama Neighbors for a period of 100 episodes in the period 2006-2007. Her arrival in Hollywood with two projects: first with the musical comedy Hollywood & Wine where she played an actress who was who was a newcomer to Hollywood. Then she was offered a part as Maya, a sexy and attractive medical student, in Scrubs the ninth season. The series was suddenly halted. Then, she went on to shoot a Farrelly brothers-produced comedy called Good To Shoot featuring the Jason Sudeiki and Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter the actress starred in small-scale series and B series movies. In 2013, she was discovered in a greater way. After being featured in six episodes on the drama about detectives Franklin and Bash and landing her first regular role in the web series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia, the actress landed a series of projects. In the series' first two episodes, she also gives an answer to Chad Michael Murray. In the following seasons, she was in supporting roles in the two feature films which were set on airplanes. One was a TV film for SyFy's Flight 7500 that featured TV actors in shows. Another one was Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She's an air hostess. She shares with Gabriel Luna the poster of an upcoming TV show that is titled Matador. A 13-episode series is all the Robert Rodriguez has planned for the thriller, in which actors take on CIA agents. They are currently working on the pilot for a new series which does not succeed. The poster was shared by her for the romantic comedy series B Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared in the role of Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars on The comedy Witness for Rent. She is also an integral part of the huge distribution of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. In addition, she appears in five episodes of the Satisfaction series.
